RHS Britain in Bloom is one of Europe’s largest horticultural campaigns. More than 1,100 cities, towns and villages participate each year to show off their achievements in environmental responsibility, community participation and, of course, horticultural achievement.

Since 1991 Thornbury has regularly entered the competition, and frequently achieved success in the South West region. In 2009 we were honoured to be asked to compete in the National Competition, and were delighted to be awarded a Gold Medal and Best in Class.

2011 again sees us competing in the National Competition, with judging taking place in August.

COFFEE MORNING: This is being held in The Methodist Church Rooms on Friday May 13th from 10am –noon. This is a good chance to come along for a coffee, cake and a chat. We will be holding a raffle and have items for sale so if you have any unwanted gifts that we could sell please bring them along to help swell our funds.
